The Limski Canal is located near Rovinj – a
inlet on the west coast of Istria. Fish and mussels are
farmed here, including oysters
. The channel is colloquially
referred to as a fjord because it is reminiscent of Scandinavian
geology. However, it is actually
what is known as a ria, as the channel did not
develop due to glacial erosion, but as a result of
a river. Whatever you call it

What initially sounds a little awkward turns out to be quite the opposite when you visit

Because it is a little hidden, not everyone can find it.
